JPAC was proud to cosponsor a recent event at The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. On March 7, 2010, newly-inaugurated California Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez attended a special Jewish Community Leadership Reception in his honor. Speaker Pérez is a great friend to the Jewish community and the state of Israel (he participated in JPAC’s 2008 Legislators’ Study Trip to Israel). We were thrilled to celebrate his historic election as Speaker and look forward to working with him to ensure a brighter future for all Californians.
