The Iran Contracting Act of 2010 (AB 1650 - Feuer & Blumenfield) passed the California State Legislature tonight with a unanimous vote of 66-0. It is now on its way to the Governor’s desk. The bill was a major focus of JPAC’s annual Lobby Day in Sacramento this past May when hundred of Jewish leaders [...] The 2010 JPAC Lobby Day in Sacramento was a great success — thanks to the participation of over 100 community leaders from throughout California. We came together to advocate on behalf of many important issues and to hear from our state’s leaders about the impacts of the budget crisis on our most vulverable populations.
